To procure ARM data, go to their web archive:
http://www.archive.arm.gov/.
You may then either browse the copious amounts of information to find out more
about the site, or advance straight to the data. To do the latter:
- Click on Archive Data
- Click on Placing an Order for Data from the ARM Archive
- Click on World Wide Web Interface
- If you are a new user, you will have to register by clicking Create
New Account at the bottom right of the page; otherwise click on
Login Archive with your existing ID at bottom left.
- Once you are in, you have several options as to how to go about searching
for the data you want. If you click on:
- Request data using Query Interface, you will be able to
select data from the various ARM sites as a function of measurements,
instruments, data streams, IOPs and/or UAV. This is a bit more cumbersome but
also more helpful if you are not quite sure what you're looking for.
- Request data using Catalog Interface, you will be able to
select data from the various ARM sites as a function of year. This is faster
but you have to know what you are after.
Follow the instructions at this point, make your selections, and then proceed to
exit or checkout. Depending on the number of files
requested, you will be notified (usually 0-3 days) when your data is ready to
download from an anonymous FTP site.
